1. A notice has been sent home to families to invite you to an information meeting on May 6th at 7:00 pm regarding the International Languages Program. After the meeting a survey will be sent home to families of children in Grades 1 - 5. This is an opportunity for all parents to contribute to discussions to the overall daily program of IL at McMurrich. I hope to see many of you there.

You are ready to start blogging about your thoughts and ideas more now! Remember if you want you can write your prediction in Microsoft Word than copy and paste your work into the comment section of the language arts blog.

Tonight you are going to make a prediction about the book Boo Hoo Bird which we are reading in class tomorrow.

When you are writing your blog comment consider the following:
1. Write in full sentences.
2. Make a connection (t-t, t-s, t-w, t-m)
3. Make a prediction using the title and/or picture
4. Predict what you think will happen to a character or what the plot of the story will be about
